A Home Away From Home
Zap Master Electrology students often face long commutes—many traveling over 2 hours one way—or the need to relocate temporarily. SHIELDS Foundation is dedicated to creating a housing community that eliminates these barriers.

Our Housing Vision:

• A safe and affordable space for students commuting more than 1.5 hours one way or relocating from out of state.
• Up to 8 private rooms within a duplex, condo, or small apartment building.
• Common spaces with a vibrant community garden, study areas, and weather-appropriate seating for downtime.
• Secure, private rooms for each student to feel at home while focusing on their education.

5-Year Goal:
To secure, renovate, and establish this housing community by 2029.
